About.
Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Chelsea, but you can call me Wilk. I have two amazing parents, a sister and a brother, who I love dearly. My husband and I have been together for 13 years and have been married for over 6 years. With the marriage, I gained two more parents, a sister, brother and two nieces. I can't imagine my life without all of them in it!
I am obsessed with the color pink, anything sparkly and just about anything girly. I love experimenting with makeup and hair styles. Starbucks, monograms, Lilly & Jack are some of my favorite things. Don't let that fool you, on Sunday's I'll be the first one on the couch with the Eagles game on, screaming at the TV and singing the fight song every we score.
How did "Run Wilk" start? Well, after doing cheerleading and gymnastics for over 20 years combined, it was time to hang up my Nfinitys. I'd begun gaining weight in my twenties and I struggled to find something to keep my competitive spirit in check. In September 2013, I ran a 5k with my sister and officially caught the running bug. I've been running ever since. Almost 4 years in, I'm still not fast but I've learned some pretty valuable lessons (I could write a book on what NOT to do). All the lessons I've learned are being applied this year and I'm working to make 2017 my most successful year of running thus far.
As I've continued to write Run Wilk, it's become more than just running. It's an outlet for me to get creative. To experiment with different looks, to challenge myself to write posts that will {hopefully} be helpful. Run Wilk is about running, fashion, makeup, hair, recipes, product recommendations, puns and side notes. Run Wilk is a work in progress and I look forward to working to continue to grow and improve and I hope you enjoy running [catch the pun?] along.
xoxo,
Wilk
